Job Description:

1. We are looking for a person with leadership potential, capable of taking on responsibility for his work. A Team Leader who can co-ordinate with clients and manage a team of programmers efficiently and meet deadlines effectively. Other responsibilities may include making time estimate, ensuring quality.

2. Who will also be responsible for developing web applications & connectors to back-office systems. Who will follow our defined standards, practices, procedures, and methods, and is encouraged to contribute to these. Who will also do code reviews to support and guide junior developers. And also be able to manage the full life cycle of web-based applications – Building, Testing & Maintenance.

3. Your job will entail PHP Coding, leading a team and working directly with the Marketing Manager and HR Consultant with reference to helping with the design of procedures and governance for the rapid expansion of the company in India.

Job Profile:

• Improve proficiency in job specific tools/techniques

• Provide technical guidance and support to the team members

• Effective communication with users (clients) and other support groups.

• Maintain history of communication with users.

• Identify, analyze the root cause and notify fixes to the users (client) for recurring problems

• Communication on significant changes in application tools to the s/w team.

• Group directives & recommendations for an improved service • System analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of assigned work.

• Good knowledge in testing a whole website before delivery

• Creating user and technical documentation for the software.

• Adhering to all security and other policies of the company.

• Preparing and delivering in house training seminars on technical topics, participation in technical symposia, seminars.

• Be proactive and self-motivated to identify and acquire current trends and advancements in your field.

• Expand job-related knowledge and skills to improve performance and adjust to change.

• Document new and revised terminology, definitions, styles, and practices for reference, application use and resolving problems

• Participate in a positive and cooperative manner during staff meetings.

• Handle difficult and sensitive situations tactfully.

• Assist with training of new employees as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare documentations on program code and design

• Provide application systems support

• Perform ad-hoc IT-related projects

• Play techno functional responsibilities as he/she would be managing the teamNeeds to work directly with clients.

• Develop web applications as well as lead teams to solve critical business problems.

• Coach a team working together to deliver an aspect of project architecture from Desired Profile.

Project Management Skills :

Analysis: Analyzing the status quo of the beneficiaries and determining the objectives of the Web-Based modules; identifying partners to collaborate with; obtaining feedback from beneficiaries.

Design: Designing a brief overview and layout of the online module (contents of main page; sub pages etc), determining the duration for the development phase etc.

Development: Developing the module (on-line course and content). Considering the analysis and the results obtained earlier.

• Ensuring the timely passage of all relevant documents & information to the Customer Support Division.

• Understanding of client’s requirement, mapping same with the solutions.

• Responsible for lead generation, follow-ups, demo, presentation, business meetings to customers through his team members.

• Formal handover of projects and other documents to Service groups.

• Creating and Maintaining records, documents pertaining QMS.

• Website Maintenance and Development and analysis

• Server Administration

• Managing Team productivity and poor performance

• Monitoring & measuring team/individual targets aligned with individual campaigns

• Leading, coaching, developing & motivating team members

• Hold regular team meetings & 1-2-1s

• Recognizing & rewarding excellent performance both at individual & team level

• Managing attrition within the team

• Prepare meeting agendas

• Facilitate team meetings using appropriate brainstorming, problem solving, decision making, and project planning techniques

• Manage meetings according to the team’s agreed upon guidelines

• Delegate team tasks as needed (e.g. recording, gathering information, etc.

• Facilitate ongoing self-evaluation of the team’s effectiveness

• Manage team conflicts so that problems are resolved constructively

• Attend County CQ1 meetings to coordinate and monitor plan implementation

• Ensure that plans are entered into the standardized format and updated at least monthly

• Report progress to County leadership

• Candidate will be responsible for developing E-Commerce sites, CMS Solutions, and Custom web based applications.

• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Profile of the Candidate:

• Candidate should have Team Leading Experience.

• Ability to Schedule & distribute projects

• Strong communication skills and good command of English and able to work well within a team

• Mentor & motivate developers and trouble shoot for team

• PHP scripting, MySql database design, .Net Technologies will be advantage.

• Core functions / classes development

• Fine tune & optimize PHP code

• Advanced SQL, HTML, DHTML, XML concepts

• Experience with PHP Programming – is required

• Worked on Web Applications

• Knowledge of eCommerce application – is a plus

• Development of Content Management Systems using PHP & MySql.

• High command on Perl, CSS, JavaScript, joomla, oscommerce, cubecart, wordpress, LAMP, Mambo and Drupal

• At least one live project experience in a team.

Education :

UG: B Sc - Any Specialization; B. Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization; BCA - Computers /- Degree Holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System or related discipline.

PG: M Tech/MCA preferred


You should have good knowledge and experience in :

Desired Experience:

• Min 2yrs (PHP Developer with Ajax and MySql)

• Experience with Web Applications and Knowledge of OOPS.

• Exposure to: PHP, Ajax, MySql, Apache Server, web languages like HTML, XHTML, Java Script and development in WINDOWS/Linux environment.

• Also you have worked for (or done projects for) an US or European company.
