The candidate will be required to analyze and structure content in a given topic relates to own/clients websites, think up effective ways to present content in an online medium, follow instructional design guidelines.
As a Technical Writer, you are required to generate technical documents such as user manuals, help files for software, marketing brochures, and related material. The work that you do will be seen and read by Infoway’s customers all over the world. You are therefore expected to produce high quality documents, which are grammatically and factually accurate.                                                                                                                      
In the course of your work, you are expected to understand the products for which you create documents. This will enable you to carry out your tasks in future projects more efficiently and independently.

Based on your capability, interest and qualification you would be working on the projects accordingly. You have to primarily write content for our client’s portals.
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of developing the content.

- Preparing, reviewing the content.
- Analyzing, verifying the subject.

Writing content which is grammatically error free, according to client specifications and standards.
Send newsletters, publishing news in all the leading newspapers and magazines, social networking sites.
Understand client's business, strategy and product offerings.
Take the initiative to research the industry and competitors (online, Blogs, forums).
The content can be in the form of articles, press releases, e-books or others. The topics generally have a broad range, which gives you the opportunity to try out different writing styles. As the company caters to mostly US-based clients, you will be expected to meet the American English standards.

Job Responsibility:

Developing and / or writing an Original, Non Plagiarized and Fresh Content Piece for company's websites, articles, newsletters, blogs, one liners and punch lines and for online activities such as e-mailers, product brochures, banners and other collaterals for the various echannel activities.

Conceptualizing and research work for the information architecture required for the new modules and sub-sections of the portal.

Previewing the existing content available on the website and re-packaging the same in a website visitor friendly style and language.
Ensure quality, consistency and accuracy of site content.
He/She will be working closely with Web development teams at our company, to get a better understanding of our products and write about them.

Searching and generating contents from various website as well as from other sources

Ensuring that the content is rich and has stickiness. So that the visitor keeps visiting the page.
Ensure that the content is such that it finally leads to the visitor becoming a customer.

Knowledge of industry best practices and standards in writing.
Professional communicator inside and outside the Content Development team.
Flair for creative writing with Excellent Grammatical Skills.

Be familiar with US & UK writing styles.

Qualification :

Candidates with post graduate degree or undergraduates in English / Mass Communication / Journalism / Visual Communication will be preferred. 
Any graduate / postgraduate with a flair for writing. (Fresher and final year students are also invited.)
